Privacy Policy

01Who this policy covers

This policy applies to AdamsHT.com and to information submitted through it. The site is operated by Adams Handling & Technical, LLC (“AHT”), which performs its welding, equipment repair and fabrication work through its division, AHT - Mobile Welding & Fabrication. Information collected offline, on a job site or under a signed agreement is governed by that agreement.

02Information collected

AHT collects information you provide directly and a limited amount of information collected automatically when you use the site.

AHT does not ask for payment card numbers, bank details or government identification through this site.

03How information is used

• To respond to service requests and inquiries, and to contact you by your preferred method.
• To prepare a written scope and proposal, schedule and perform the work, and keep job and completion records.
• To provide documentation that clients request, such as certificates of insurance and qualification records.
• To understand how the site is used and which advertising and referral channels bring in work.
• To protect the site and AHT against fraud and misuse, and to meet legal and recordkeeping obligations.

04Analytics, advertising and cookies

The site uses Google Analytics to measure traffic and the Meta Pixel to measure advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may set cookies or use similar technologies to record pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location and the site that referred you. AHT uses this information in aggregate to judge which pages and campaigns work.

You can limit this collection by blocking or clearing cookies in your browser, by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and by adjusting your Meta ad preferences. The site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

05How information is shared

AHT does not sell personal information. Information is shared only:

• With service providers that operate the site and the business on AHT’s behalf, such as website hosting, form delivery, AHT’s job management system, analytics and advertising measurement, under their own confidentiality and data-protection terms.
• With parties you direct AHT to share with, such as a general contractor, inspector or insurer on your project.
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, property or safety of AHT, its clients or others.
• With a successor if the business is reorganized, merged or sold, subject to this policy.

06Retention

Information is kept for as long as it is needed to respond to you, perform and document the work, and meet tax, insurance and recordkeeping requirements.

07Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to submitted information is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so AHT cannot guarantee absolute security.

08Your choices and rights

You can ask AHT to tell you what information it holds about you, to correct it, or to delete it, subject to records AHT must keep by law. You can also ask AHT to stop contacting you. California residents may have additional rights under state law, and AHT will not discriminate against anyone for making a request.

09Children

The site is intended for businesses and adults. AHT does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

10Changes to this policy

AHT may update this policy as the site and its services change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
