Most work is performed where the equipment operates. Prep, sub-assembly and procurement are arranged per job and delivered to the site.

Every service request gets a response the same business day. Equipment that is down takes priority, and after-hours response is available.

Twelve Northern California counties: Shasta, Tehama, Siskiyou, Trinity, Humboldt, Glenn, Butte, Colusa, Lake, Mendocino, Yuba and Sutter. AHT is based in Shasta Lake.

Cracks are excavated to sound metal before welding rather than welded over. Welding is performed to AWS D1.1 under written procedure specifications, and reinforcement is added where the steel failed.

AHT welders are qualified to AWS D1.1 in 7018 stick and flux-core, self-shielded and gas-shielded, all positions, unlimited thickness. Work is performed under written welding procedure specifications, and qualification records are available on request.

For larger or scheduled projects, a deposit may be required before mobilization. It is stated in the written proposal.

Every job is scoped and quoted in writing before work starts. Photos of the failure and the machine make the quote faster and more accurate.

Yes. AHT mobilizes a self-contained rig with on-board generator power, so repairs are made where the equipment or assembly sits.

Down equipment moves to the front of the schedule. Send the location, the machine and photos of the damage, and AHT confirms the arrival window when it replies.

Safe access to the damaged area, the machine locked out and parked on stable ground, and cleaning of heavy grease or mud where possible. AHT confirms the details when the work is scheduled.

In most cases, yes. A properly excavated and reinforced repair returns the bucket to service for a fraction of replacement cost.

Hardfacing lays a wear-resistant weld deposit over high-wear areas. It slows abrasion and extends the time between rebuilds.

Yes. AHT repairs frame cracks, crossmembers and hangers where the trailer is parked, using a self-contained rig.

Yes. AHT rebuilds and reinforces rear impact (underride) guards on semi trailers and flatbeds.

AHT is open seven days, 7 AM to 5 PM, with after-hours response available. In-season breakdowns are scheduled as soon as the rig can reach the site.

Yes. Implement frames, toolbars, hitches, loader arms and farm trailer frames are all repaired on site. Photos of the break and the equipment speed up the scope.

AHT fabricates the parts and reinforcement its repairs and projects call for. It does not build stock products for sale.

Yes. Brackets, plates, gussets and replacement components are measured, cut and fitted where the equipment sits, so the part matches the machine.

Yes. Drawings, sketches or a sample part all work. Where a part carries load, the repair is scoped in writing before fabrication starts.

Carbon arc gouging uses an electric arc and compressed air to remove metal quickly. It is the standard way to take out failed welds and cracks before a repair.

Gouging removes old welds, cracks and heavy sections quickly and prepares joints for full-penetration repair. Grinding finishes and blends. Most crack repairs use both.

Yes, where the steel is equipment, attachments or fabricated assemblies. Cutting is planned with fire watch and a clean work area at the end.
